This... this is Daniel in my brain pretty much. As amusing as I find the 'kawaiidesuuu~' Daniel, this is actually pretty close to what I think of. He was a man, perhaps scared like a little girl at times (but who wouldn't be), but a man.
Also, you captured the contemplation in his eyes very well.
Yeah, no matter how cowardly Daniel may seem in comparison to other heroes and heroines in horror games, I think he's the most close to a realistic human being, past torture sessions included. When faced with that much pain and horror, especially when you're walking in ''blind'' just your past notes that you can't remember writing to guide you, anyone would be at the brink of insanity. And that really shows on a person, no matter what.
